Alken Industries Presents at the Long Island Manufacturing Symposium
Alken Industries recently participated in the Suffolk County Community College Long Island Manufacturing Symposium which took place on Friday, October 21, 2011 on the Michael J. Grant Campus in Brentwood.
One of the main goals of the symposium was to demonstrate to the world that manufacturing in this region is vibrant and essential to Long Island’s overall economic health. And also to discover regional resources that make employees more productive and manufacturers more profitable.
2011 KSASF Golf Outing a Success
The day of our event was not only sunny, but it was our best year ever! We raised over $36,000 dollars with forty less golfers. The KSASF supporters, like you, have raised close to $100,000 of total donations over the last 3 years in a most difficult economy.
Thank you, again, so much for allowing us the opportunity to celebrate our father’s memory and for helping us to honor his spirit and passion. Most fitting to this end is a quote that was produced at the reception by Dr John Fitzpatrick, President of Vaughn College, as he addressed the participants “Through your support, we are able to better prepare our students to meet the demands of the aviation industry.”
