Gary Sporing
Before joining the team at Alken Industries, Inc., Mr. Sporing had held multiple managerial rolls at SPX Precision Components (formerly Bill-Jay Machine Tool Corp.) including Assembly Manager, MRP manager, Quality Engineering Manager and most recently Engineering Manager. He began his career in aerospace manufacturing working part time in the assembly department at Bill-Jay while attending college. Once he graduated and worked full time, his talents were recognized, and Mr. Sporing was then asked to work in manufacturing and onto the quality department before entering Bill-Jay’s management team. Mr. Sporing graduated from Suffolk County Community College with an A.A.S. degree in Manufacturing Technology. He also holds certificates to business and industry courses: SUNY Stony Brook Manufacturing Management and Quality Standards, ISO Internal Auditing and ISO 9000:2000 Internal Auditing, Dale Carnegie Leadership Training for Managers, Three day Lean learning event at ITO University, Farmingdale University MasterCam workshop and MSC Institute of Technology CATIA V5 Fundamentals.
