The Defense Logistics Agency awarded Alken “Innovative Business Performer of the Year.” They were nominated by the Defense Supply Center Richmond for dedication and outstanding support to the Defense Logistics Agency and the A-10 Thunderbolt (warthog).
“ Alken Industries Inc. has made an indelible mark on the military and placed the Defense Supply Center Richmond in the global spotlight with its unique services and outstanding support for the A-10 Aircraft service life extension program 1 wing production. Alken has been able to cut delivery of a critical part in half, which has kept the service life extension program 1 wing production line from shutting down.
