Alken Industries’ reputation is based on producing complex quality aerospace structural machined parts, and delivering on time to all of its clients.
I was impressed by the amount of Lean processes Alken has put in place. Their TPM plan, absence of WIP on the floor and overall organization is very good. You just don’t see too many companies Alken’s size that has embraced Lean as well as they have.
I have listed Alken as one of our suppliers that has performed well in a very short period of time… and how open Alken has been in communicating status on a weekly basis and how they pulled two or so weeks out of the schedule… if anyone could, Ken Lango and Alken could and would. WOW!!!
